Founded in 2007 by a group of seasoned leveraged finance professionals, Pangaea Asset Management is a specialized asset management firm based in Chicago, Illinois. Our business is focused primarily on managing leveraged loan collateral with a significant allocation to middle-market loans.
Since 1999, Pangaea’s principals have successfully managed leveraged loan collateral across 7 different collateralized loan obligation (“CLO”) transactions and three separate account arrangements. Pangaea’s professionals also have significant experience in the origination and structuring of syndicated senior secured credit facilities. This base of experience provides the firm with broad access to attractive loan collateral via strong relationships with both agent banks and private equity sponsors. Through a combination of broad market access, strict credit discipline, and portfolio diversification, Pangaea is well positioned to generate attractive investment returns across its managed portfolios.
