Leaps of Faith: Prospect’s 8 P’s, Pre-Middle Market, and Partnering With a Packers Fan

A smiling man with short brown hair, wearing glasses, a dark blazer, and a light blue shirt, stands in front of a blurred cityscape background with tall buildings.
In Episode 3, we welcome our friend and client Brett Holcomb, Partner at Prospect Partners.

Among their many beer stories, Scott and Brett discuss Brett’s experiences at Prospect Partners as taking leaps of faith in pre-middle market. Scott and Brett chat about private equity trends, along with the importance of true collaboration internally and the value of external partnerships (including pre-LOI reference checks). Brett shares his thoughts about Potential not Perfection, and offers young professionals sage career advice: “The answer is not found in the spreadsheet; it’s in the people, the culture, and the relationships built over time.”
